Intellectual Property Right  (I.P.R.)

World intellectual Property Right  Organization (W.I.P.O) is a specialized agency of united nation that provides protection of IP throughout the world. 

Intellectual Property is a property that arises from the human intellect. It is a product of human creation.

Types of intellectual Property Right
     There are some type of intellectual Property Right
  1. Patents.
  2. Trademarks.
  3. Copyrights and related rights.
  4. Industrial Designs.
Patent:-  Patent is an official document the that gives someone who has invented something the legal right to make or sell that invention for a particular period of time and prevents anyone else from doing so for example design of a mechanism, calculator, car bicycle, mobile , shoe etc.

Trademarks:-  Trademarks is a name or design belonging to a particular company used on its products. Trademarks is denoted by TM  and a registered trademarks is denoted by  in circle as shown below-

Registered Trademark :   

example - Google , acer , hmt,  microsoft  etc

Copyrights and related rights:

I. Copyright is a legal term describing rights given to creators for their literary and artistic works.

II. The kinds of works covered by copyright include: literary works such as novels, poems, plays, reference works, newspapers and computer programs; databases; films, musical compositions, and choreography; artistic works such as paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture; architecture; and advertisements, maps and technical drawings etc
